The All Progressives Congress has released the names of aspirants who participated in the screening exercise for the House of Representatives primary election but were not cleared by the party.
In a press statement issued in Abuja on May 16, 2026, the party said the affected aspirants underwent screening before the decision was reached by the party’s screening committees.
The APC explained that the screening exercise was conducted in line with the party’s established procedures and guidelines ahead of the primary elections.
According to the statement, only aspirants who successfully met the requirements and conditions set by the party were cleared to proceed to the House of Representatives primary election.
The statement was signed by Felix Morka, who reaffirmed the party’s commitment to due process and internal democratic procedures.
The development comes as the ruling party continues its nationwide process for the selection of candidates ahead of forthcoming elections.
