Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of Dr. Mann Ali as the Chairman of the Ondo State Civil Service Commission.
The governor also appointed Mr. Michael Oshodi as a member of the commission.
According to a statement from the state government, the appointments are aimed at filling vacancies created by the expiration of the five-year tenure of the former chairman, Mr. Ajose Kudehinbu, and another member of the commission in June 2026.
Dr. Ali and Mr. Oshodi are both retired permanent secretaries with extensive experience in the state public service.
The appointments are, however, subject to confirmation by the Ondo State House of Assembly in accordance with the relevant provisions of the law.
The Civil Service Commission plays a key role in the administration and management of the state’s workforce, including matters relating to appointments, promotions and discipline within the civil service.
The latest appointments form part of ongoing efforts by the Aiyedatiwa administration to strengthen institutions and enhance efficiency in the public service.
