The Ondo State Government has released the results of the 2026 Common Entrance Examination for pupils seeking admission into public secondary schools across the state.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology announced on Wednesday that candidates can now check their results on the ministry’s official online portal.
The Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Dr. Akindele Ige, said the results had been successfully uploaded and urged parents and guardians to access the portal using their registration PIN to view the performance of their children and wards.
“The results of the 2026 Common Entrance Examination have been uploaded successfully. Parents and guardians should log in with their registration PIN on the official portal to check the results of their children and wards,” Ige said.
Providing a breakdown of the examination, the Director of Examinations Management, Mrs. Titilayo Udoh, said 67,547 pupils sat the examination across the 18 local government areas of the state.
According to her, 56 per cent of the candidates scored above the 50 per cent pass mark, while 44 per cent scored below it.
Udoh also disclosed that the highest score recorded was 294 out of a possible 300 marks, representing 98 per cent.
“A total of 67,547 pupils participated in the examination statewide. While 56 per cent scored above 50 per cent, 44 per cent scored below 50 per cent. The highest score recorded in the examination was 294 out of 300, which translates to 98 per cent,” she said.
