Ondo State Governor and Returning Officer for the APC Presidential Primary Election in the state, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across Ondo State to come out en masse and participate actively in the party’s presidential primary election scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026.
In a message addressed to party faithful, Aiyedatiwa urged all registered APC members in the state to take part in the exercise across the 203 wards, describing the primary election as a critical democratic process that would help shape the future of the nation and further strengthen the party’s internal democracy.
The governor emphasized that the strength of the APC lies in the active participation, dedication, and collective commitment of its members, noting that every vote and voice remain important to the continued growth and success of the party.
He also called for a peaceful, orderly, and responsible conduct throughout the exercise, urging party members to adhere strictly to the party’s rules and guidelines.
Aiyedatiwa expressed confidence in the political maturity, unity, and discipline of APC members in Ondo State, saying the conduct of the primary election should once again reflect the values for which the party is known.
He wished all participants a peaceful and successful exercise while reaffirming the importance of unity and democratic engagement within the party.
