According to him, certain party leaders at the time discouraged his ambition, insisting it was \u201cnot the time for Ondo to do Senate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He noted what he described as a twist of fate, pointing out that one of those same leaders is now seeking a senatorial seat but has allegedly been told there is \u201cno space for Ondo in the Senate.\u201d Awosika criticized the move to instead pursue a third term in the House of Representatives, calling it a lack of political fairness and vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhy can\u2019t you go back to private life like some of us and still help your people?\u201d he asked, emphasizing that public service should not be limited to holding office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Awosika stressed that despite being denied the opportunity to represent the district in 2022, he has remained committed to supporting his community.
