Media personality, Akinpelu Babatunde Adigun, popularly known as Tunde Perry, has disclosed that his wife gives him one free day per month to cheat.
During a live session on TikTok with a female guest, Tunde Perry revealed that his wife allows him to take one “free day” every month to go out, relax and spend time away from home without being disturbed.
Explaining how the arrangement works, Tunde Perry said he selects the date at the beginning of each month, and once it has been agreed upon, his wife does not call or check on him while he is away.
“My wife gives me one free day in a month to go out and chill. We’ve been married for about 10 years, so we understand ourselves. I choose the date from the beginning of the month,” he said.
The media personality, who has been married for about a decade, noted that the understanding between him and his wife has helped strengthen their relationship.
He also disclosed that after returning from his outing, he is expected to make up for his absence by helping with household chores. Tunde Perry jokingly said his wife temporarily takes away his phones and assigns him tasks around the house.
According to him, the monthly arrangement has played a role in keeping their marriage stable and has removed any desire for him to marry another woman.
“You must have that kind of understanding so you can enjoy your relationship. It’s not good to have two or three wives,” he said.
When the host jokingly asked what would happen if one of his outings resulted in another relationship, Tunde Perry dismissed the idea and maintained that he had no intention of breaking the rules.
“How will I go out next month to enjoy again?” he replied jokingly.
